Salisbury Bldg. 6 Renovation

HICAPS was the General Contractor for this Design-Build project which consisted of the construction of new offices over an abandon swimming pool at the Salisbury VAMC. New energy efficiency building methods were used such as “Cloud” acoustical ceilings to maximize natural daylight thus reducing the need for artificial lighting. It also included new energy efficient exterior windows and mechanical and electrical systems. A new ADA storefront entrance and aluminum canopy along with new sidewalks were added to improve the aesthetics of the exterior of the building. The total cost of this project was $610,000.
