In Asheville, NC at the Charles George VAMC, HICAPS provided support and management services for a number of low voltage projects. An access control/card reader and intrusion detection system was installed around the campus. These readers are tied to the networked CCure Access Control System and include fire alarm interface relays to release the locks in case of a fire emergency. This is an ongoing project and HICAPS is currently working to make all of these stations PIV compliant.
