Construction Manager for the $65 Million Carroll at Bellemeade Project

HICAPS’ Construction Management Team was selected to provide project management, field supervision, and project scheduling services to assist the Carroll Companies in the construction of their Carroll at Bellemeade Project in downtown Greensboro, North Carolina.

The project consists of a Hyatt Place hotel with 110 rooms and a 3,500 square foot convention space for weddings and conferences, and three separate apartment buildings providing approximately 300 new housing units to the downtown area.

All of the buildings are wood frame construction over a poured in place podium level. The area under the podium level of each building will be used for guest and tenant parking. A single level parking deck will also be constructed in a “courtyard area” that is surrounded by the new buildings.
One of the apartment buildings will have a rooftop deck and outdoor pool overlooking the field of the First National Bank ballpark, home of the Greensboro Grasshoppers minor league baseball team. The approximate value of the project is $65 million.
