Surveillance System Upgrade

HICAPS provided a complete Surveillance system upgrade with camera additions to the Charles George VAMC in Asheville, NC. This included close to 200 camera installs and conversion to the IP VMS system. Display monitors and video servers were installed and programmed at the security console. This work allowed the previously installed card reader locations to be connected to the associated cameras for that location. This work has provided an easier and more efficient police service response to alerts. HICAPS maintains the software platform which has been customized for this application and will be integrating the current CCTV and surveillance upgrade package into the Access Controls system software. A three year maintenance service package is included for the surveillance upgrade to cover all cameras.
