Building Commissioning – General Services Administration

HICAPS provided fundamental and enhanced commissioning of HVAC, lighting controls and domestic hot water systems. Each building is approximately 15,000 sq. ft. The assembly area in one building utilizes a high-efficiency roof-top unit with two-stage compressor. Functional testing revealed that the second stage was not operating. The operating sequence for the IT server room was modified to increase humidity so that a humidifier would not be required. Daylight harvesting (lighting controls) settings were also modified during functional testing.
