HICAPS provided Project Management and Scheduling services to the Hunter Homes McGuire VAMC for an expansion to the Hospital Wide Duress System. This addition included 166 panic alert stations all in direct communication with the Hospital’s Police Department Dispatch Desk. Once activated, the master station located in the dispatch desk will display and announce the location of the alert allowing a quick response. After the system was installed, each station was fully integrated to the existing system, programmed and staff training was completed.
