Building Commissioning – 525th Battalion Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility

HICAPS provided commissioning of the HVAC, lighting controls and domestic hot water systems for three buildings totaling approximately 60,000 sq. ft. Commissioning of the main building included testing of boiler, chiller, variable air volume (VAV) units, direct-fired gas heaters and monoxide sensors, energy recovery ventilators (ERVs) and controls. Air pressure controls in the office and classroom spaces required modification to ensure safe operation. Commissioning of the smaller buildings included variable refrigerant flow, ductless mini-split DX units and ERVs.
