Baseline indoor air quality testing protects building owners and general contractors by providing documentation of a building’s indoor air quality (IAQ) conditions prior to the introduction of post-construction contaminants by building occupants. IAQ testing is performed after completion of construction and prior to building occupancy. Testing is performed in accordance with the US EPA Compendium of Methods for the Determination of Air Pollutants in Indoor Air.
LEED & IAQ Testing
LEED certification requires either flushing of a building’s air volume or documentation of acceptable indoor air quality conditions through baseline indoor air quality testing.
